NBA Dynasties, the Most Dominant Teams in History
The NBA has seen many great teams over the last few decades but only a few select teams have been able to establish a reign that is needed for a team to be labeled as a dynasty. Such teams not only had their, heyday but also left their imprint on the league and this important sport. Take a look a these legends and how they shaped NBA odds and the history of basketball.
Boston Celtics (1956-1969)
Taking the time to judge the historical data, one can mention the example of the most successful team – the Boston Celtics of the late 1950s – early 1960s. The team was coached by the legendary Red Auerbach and one of the players in the team was Bill Russell, this enabled the Celtics to win 11 championships in 13 seasons. The dominance was up to 1966 and, this included, eight consecutive titles from 1959, whose record has not been equaled to this date.
Bill Russell who was a great defensive player and a great rebounder was the main pillar for the team, but the team had many other legends like Bob Cousy, John Havlicek, and Sam Jones who have been admitted into the Hall of Fame. Consequently, the work ethic, defense and ball movement of the Celtics paved the way for awesome future champions. Their accomplishments embodied certain principles and strategies that were new and effective; therefore, the Celtics provided a cool blueprint for all the subsequent NBA champions.
Los Angeles Lakers (1980-1991)
Another basketball dynasty that the fans in the world can recall is the Los Angeles Lakers’ “Showtime” early in the 1980s. Magic Johnson was controlling the ball while at the same time Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was controlling the paint and the Lakers were claiming five championships in nine years. With the help of Pat Riley the fast and furious playing squad turned the Lakers into one of the most showy teams, that have ever been witnessed in the NBA.

Chicago Bulls (1991-1998)
The most popular basketball team and dynasty of the modern days is, of course, the Chicago Bulls of the Nineties with Michael Jordan. The basketball team led by Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan had achieved six rings in eight years. This was because Jordan was a prolific scorer, a fierce competitor, and the Bulls’ floor general.
The middle was again anchored by Scottie Pippen while the rest of the team including Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr, and Toni Kukoc gave their best as ever. The Bulls were said to have had a good run both in the regular season and in the playoffs, this is because they played like champions, especially during the crucial moments. Through this exercise, Michael Jordan also played a role in the development of the game and the NBA around the world at this time.
Golden State Warriors (2015-2019)
The current Golden State Warriors’ form of a dynasty with their style and record-breaking came to prominence in the second half of the 2010s. Led by Curry, Thompson, Green, and later Durant, the Warriors managed to win three titles within the space of five seasons while also appearing in the final of the NBA five seasons in a row.
This was so because the Warriors adopted a new style of play for the team that included a three-point shooting style of play and fast and spaced. Curry for sure revolutionized the game with shooting and range and even influenced his team, the Golden State Warriors as well as the NBA. Other factors that went in the favor of the team include the attitude of their coach, Steve Kerr, and the strength of the team.
